IPA STAFF

 

This growing staff brings an average of more than 15+ years of training and coaching experience at every level. We are heavily weighted with football experience from a professional level to collegiate coaching to high school coaching and all the way down to Pop Warner and Flag Football. As a pre-requisite all members of the IPA staff hold USA Heads Up Football Certifications, Extensive Safety Certifications, CPR and First Aid Certifications along with dozens of sport and training credentials.

Our IMPACT PERFORMANCE TRAINING applies to athletes in every sport. Speed, Strength, Agility and Fast Twitch is the DNA needed to excel at any position across any sport.  

​Coach Smith

Coach Smith brings 24 years of Sports Training to IPA - He is a two-time collegiate All-American in Football and a two year Decathlete. Smith played QB, Wide Receiver and Safety in college and spent 6 years in the Arena Football League. He spent 2 years at Cal State Northridge before transferring to Palomar College where he was part of the 1998 National Championship team. He spent 2 more years at Southern Utah University before attending multiple NFL camps as an undrafted free agent.  

Coach Smith was introduced to Over-Speed Training more than 20 years ago and has produced training programs for some of the top athletes in the country. Smith has put together Impact Performance Training and Health and Wellness  programs for individual professional athletes, high school teams, collegiate teams and corporate businesses. 

Smiths goal at IPA is to bring collegiate and professional level training with the right tools and resources for young athletes to utilize in preparation for the next level. 

​Coach Hines

Coach Hines brings 25+ years of football and coaching experience. A 4 year letterman at the United States Naval Academy coach Hines has an unmatched work ethic and passion for youth sports. A staple within the Temecula Valley community for more than 20 years, coach Hines continues to bring his coaching experience and knowledge to hundreds of youth athletes. 

 

Hines is passionate about sharing the work ethic, drive and determination that is required to be successful in the armed forces with the way he mentors athletes at IPA. 

​Dr. Coach Rob Robbins

QB Whisper! Robbins has played and coached at the highest level. Playing17 years including the NFL & USFL. He has been a Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator at the varsity level for many years and now focuses his time strictly working with QB's at all levels during the off-season. Robbins has worked with dozens of professional QB's to help support their mechanics and create better arm strength and longevity. Consulting with Tom House and many other QB coaches throughout the years, he brings a unique approach to building the right mechanics for todays modern offenses. 

​Coach Wight

Coach Wight brings a strong passion for coaching youth athletics for more than 15yrs. From Baseball to Football, Coach Wight is a very impressionable coach that works extremely hard to give every athlete the knowledge and training that they will see at the next level. Wight has a strong background in defensive skill positions having played and coached linebacker and defensive line for many years.  

​Coach Doull

Coach Doull brings a distinguished professional career of working with some of the top athletes in the country with his more than 20 years as an athlete relations manager at The Upper Deck Company. Doull's career gives him a unique insight into professional athletes and the work ethics needed to compete at that level. Doull has coached youth sports for many years and has a strong passion for helping young athletes understand the work and drive needed to make it to the next level.

​Coach Lejay

 

Coach Lejay brings 24+ years of competitive football and coaching to the IPA Staff. Lejay was a 2 year starter at the University of Hawaii where he led the nation in interceptions returned for touchdowns his senior year at Cornerback. 

​

Lejay went on to play professionally for 5 years bouncing between the NFL and the Arena Football League. With a long history of Over-Speed training, resistance training and pre-combine specific workouts, Quincy is one of the best when it comes to understanding where athletes weaknesses and strengths are and how to maximize each athletes impact potential.  

Coach Justus

Was raised in the Temecula Valley. As 3 year letterman at Temecula Valley High School Justus excelled in Football. He has a strong love for the sport and has coached several youth baseball and football teams here in the valley. He is proud to be a member of the IPA family and to be able to provide a higher level of training and coaching to the young athletes. He looks forward to helping your child develop to the next level in sports and life.

Coach Garcia

A retired military veteran, Garcia brings a ton of energy and life lessons to youth sports. With many years of coaching experience in Rugby and Football, Garcia is a strong motivator and helps youth athletes understand the value of hard work and a strong work ethic.

Coach Parks

Coach Parks has taught and coached at the HS and youth levels as well as competed at the HS and Collegiate level. He has a strong passion for football and developing youth athletes into impact players by giving them the fundamentals they need to create speed, explosiveness, agility and strength. As a High School teacher Parks brings a players coach mentality to the youth athletes at IPA.

Coach Lopez

A native of Valley Center, CA, Coach Lopez has been coaching football since 1988. As a student at Cal State Northridge Lopez began coaching HS football at Canyon High. He then moved on to coach at Sylmar and Rio Mesa High Schools throughout the 90's. Coach Lopez moved to Murrieta in early 2000 where him and his family have continue to build strong relationships throughout the community. 

​In 2006 Coach Lopez opened the All Tribes Charter School Football Program. The last 12 years he has been coaching HS football at Valley Center High. He is currently a PE teacher at Pauma School. 

​Coach Lopez has a strong passion and love for football. He enjoys coaching any position on the field but has really developed a passion for the offensive and defensive lines.

His goal is to help develop boys into outstanding young men. Football is a tremendous tool to teach our young men. Like all of our youth coaches, Lopez expects these young athletes to take the lessons they learn from the coaches to the next level of competition and to apply them for the rest of their lives.

Coach Williams

Coach Williams was a blue chip recruit out of California settling to play 5 years in his own backyard. At 6'6 & 330lbs Williams was a force on the Offensive Line. Williams has coached youth sports for many years and brings a wealth of collegiate knowledge to youth athletes that are poised to play bigger body positions. Having played multiple sports each year throughout HS including a standout in Basketball and Track, Williams understands the nuances of how bigger bodies need to train and how to get the most out of fast twitch and resistance training.
